1a. Maiden 3yo 5f T non-starters $2500
Winner: Tommie Bell, SMR, 97 chestnut filly bred by Rosen Stables, ND
(Tomanchie-r x Aleybal, Ben Ben Bilal -r)ridden by Jordan, T=1:07.1 EST TR
1/6 Tommie Bell, SMR, 97 ch filly,ns, #116, pp6,by 1L, set pace, coasted on lead all the way home, w-t-w
2/6 Braizia, SMR, 97 b filly,ns, #116, pp3, by 1/2 L, bumped at break, strong closing move
3/6 Neibla, SMR, 97 gr filly,ns, #116, pp1, by nose, stumbled at break, stalked, closing strongly at wire
4/6 Sunlight, THA, 97 ch filly,ns,#116,pp4,by 1L, stalked pace, closing strongly at wire
5/6 Mageeda [EGY], MMZ, 97 gr filly,ns,#116, *pp2,by 1L bumped at break, ran midpack, gaining in stretch
6/6 Magique Crown Imperial, THA, 97 ch colt,ns,#118,pp5, with pacesetter early, fading
Notes: No inquiry into bumping at gate. All horses vet checked okay.
This race was a pacesetter's dream- only one early challenger, then a big rest break midway
while all the horses who had problems at the start wasted energy making up the ground.
Some strong closing moves, but not enough to make up for the huge early difference.
1b. Maiden 3yo 5f T started div.1 $2500
Winner: Princessa [POL], CWA, 97 gray filly bred by Five Acre Farm, MI( Pawik x Peseta, Tallin-r)
ridden by Tasuki, T=106.4 NTR
1/5 Princessa [POL], CWA, 97 gr filly,pl,#116,pp3,by head, flying start, ahead of trouble, clear running
2/5 Moipemi, CWA, 97 ch filly,pl,#116,pp5,by 1L, bumped on turn, strong finishing move

5/5 Kash n Karry [RUS], BGU, 97 gr colt, pl,#118,*pp2,lugged out very wide in turn, lots of bumping
Notes: Inquiry ruled that Kash N Karry did interfere with Moipemi and Tasha Reda, but since he lagged after
incident, he was not set down and no fines were incurred. A good clean trip for pace-setting winner Princessa.
1c. Maiden 3yo 5f T started div.2 $2500
Winner: Aly Khy, SMF, 97 gray filly bred by Cross R Ranch, MI (ZT Ali Baba x Bint Khymad, Khymad),
ridden by M. Yuuki, T=107.9
1/4 Aly Khy, SMF, 97 gr filly,unpl,#116,pp4,by 1L, pressed pace, moved to win duel in stretch
2/4 Mystyk Kanroban, COY, 97 ch gelding, unpl, #118, *pp3, by neck, set early pace, kept fighting
3/4 NA Romakin, DHA, 97 b filly, unpl, #116,pp1,by neck, stalked pace, flew up at top of stretch
4/4 Aracosia [SP], MAJ, 97 b filly, pl, #116, pp2, slow start, moving up in stretch
Notes: This was a balanced field for as few horses as made this split.
In this case the pace-presser Aly Khy barely beat out the pacesetter, the stalker and
the closer.
2a. Maiden 3yof 6f non-starters div 1 $2500
Winner: Dayra, ABE, 97 gray filly bred by October Moon Acres, IL
(Dawaph x *Elyra, Gondolier-r), ridden by G. Ediger,T=1:17.6 EST TR
1/6 Dayra, ABE, 97 gr filly, ns, #116, pp1,by 1L, went with fast pacesetter, came on in stretch
2/6 Allaga, SMR, 97 g filly,ns, #116, *pp6, by 1L, fast pacesetter, tired, came on again at wire
3/6 Alm Alsay, LCI, 97 gr filly,ns,#116,pp2, by nose, set fast pace, tiring in stretch
4/6 Nabile [EGY], MMZ, 97 ch filly,ns,#116, *pp4, by head, bumped Silky Sam into first turn, coming on strong
5/6 Silky Sam, EJE, 97 ch filly,ns,#116,pp3, by 1/2L, bumped Nabile into first turn, coming on strong
6/6 Phoenix, THA, 97 bl filly,ns,#116,pp5,went with pacesetter, tired but still trying
Notes: Inquiry ruled that Nabile and Silky Sam interfered with each other
equally, due to both fillies moving toward the rail at the turn.
Again the pacesetters did very well at staying out of
trouble.
2b. Maiden 3yof 6f non-starters div 2 $2500
Winner: Rasa Hill, SMR, 97 black filly bred by Rosen Stables, ND
(RG Hilacious-r x Rasamona , Rasmoniet-r ), ridden by Jordan, T=1:18.0
1/6 Rasa Hill, SMR, 97 bl filly,ns, #116, pp1,by head, went with pacesetter, pulled away in stretch
2/6 Sade, ELE, 97 gr filly,ns,#116,pp4, by nose, stalked fast pace, led at top of stretch, fought hard
3/6 Liviyaah El Saad, DHA, 97 b filly, ns, #116, pp5, by nose, bad break, moved up fast at the half
4/6 Relampeguea, THA, 97 b filly,ns,#116,pp3, by 2L, fast pacesetter, kept on trying
5/6 Zuska, LLY, 97 b filly, ns, #116,*pp6, by 1/2L, far off pace early, great gains late
6/6 Khemorian, LCI, 97 gr filly,ns,#116,pp2, steadily gaining in stretch
Notes: A very fast race, nearly on track record time, with lots of competition on the front end.
Only two closers tried to catch these four fast-starting fillies. Very aggressive for
first-time starters- what a race!
2c. Maiden 3yof 6f started $2500
Winner: Silvona [SP], MAJ, 97 gray filly bred by Yeguada Veragua,
Spain(Alvarez x Vinca, Rescoldo-r), ridden by J. LaRoche, T=1:18.2
1/5 Silvona [SP], MAJ, 97 g filly, unpl, #116, pp5, by 1/2L stalked early pace, great finishing drive
2/5 Dallale [EGY], BGU, 97 ch filly,pl,#116,*pp2, by nose, stalking early, huge move on turn, tiring in stretch
3/5 Sulania, MHK, 97 bl filly,pl,#116,pp4, by 1L, stalking early, steadily gained
4/5 Barich de Saable, CWA, 97 bl filly,pl,#116,pp1,by nose, very fast pacesetter, weakened in stretch
5/5 Strawberry Fields, BGU, 97 ch filly,pl,#116,pp3,left far behind pack, flying up in stretch too late
Notes: A stalker's race here, with the pacesetter running herself out
but leaving such a big gap that the closers couldn't make up the ground.
2d. Maiden 3yo c/g 6f $2500
Winner: Huran, SMR, 97 gray gelding bred by Rosen Stables, ND(Liath Rose x Helig, SLM Mysterian),
ridden by Hacker, T=1:18.4
1/4 Huran, SMR, 97 gr gelding,ns, #118, pp1,by 1/2L, fast start, slowed, came on again when challenged, w-t-w
2/4 Alternative, SST, 97 bay colt,pl, #118, *pp4, by 1L, stalked pace, nearly caught leader, surprised at wire
3/4 Samzyn, DRZ,97 ch colt, ns, #118, pp2, by head, behind pace early, great gains late
4/4 Jawhar, LLY, 97 gr gelding, ns, #118, *pp3, stalked pace early, dropped back in stretch
Notes: Huran flew out of the gate like the very hounds of Hades were after him, and refused to be caught by any of the
strong-finishing closers. Did Huran's workout mates bite him if they caught up? He wouldn't let anyone near him!
2e. Maiden 3yo c/g 6f $2500
Winner: Harfazco, SMF, 97 gray gelding bred by Vanderbrick Farm, TN(Orazco x Harfamonjka, Eternit-r),
ridden by Hotohori, T=1:19.4
1/5 Harfazco, SMF, 97 gr gelding, pl, #118, pp2, by neck, stalked pace, battled down the stretch
2/5 Burmizva,SMF, 97 b gelding, pl, #118, pp4, by nose, out fast with pacesetter, held off challenger
3/5 Nurep, CWA, 97 ch colt,unpl,#118,pp5, by 1L, stumbled at break, strong finish
4/5 Marc The Groove, MMZ, 97 g colt,ns,#118, *pp8, by head, weaved out at break, gained, challenged late
5/5 Cassam, EJE, 97 bl colt,ns,#118,pp3, slow break, gained steadily, challenged late
Notes: Favorite Marc The Groove weaved out away from stumbling Nurep at the start
and left himself a lot of ground to make up.
3a. Maiden 3yo f 7 ½ f T div. 1 $2500
Winner: Blue Eyed Judy, DRZ, 97 grey filly bred by Norwood Farms, CA(Patriot Missle-r x RA Blue Light, RA Lights and Siren II),
ridden by M. Yuuki, T=1:45.3 EST TR
1/8 Blue Eyed Judy, DRZ, 97 g filly,ns, #116, pp8, nose, stalked pace, huge rush in stretch to win 4-way fight
2/8 Raun Serra, THA, 97 bl filly,ns,#116,pp1,nose, stalked pace, dueled for win, almost had it
3/8 RA Shimmering Light, PBR, 97 ch f,ns,#116,*pp7,nose, stalked pace, dueled for win, very close
4/8 Fortuna, SST, 97 bl filly,ns, #116, pp5, nose, out with pacesetter, fought hard, couldn't hold off closers
5/8 Gharma, ABE, 97 b filly, ns, #116, pp3, head, set unwanted pace, stayed strong
6/8 Radiana [SP], MAJ, 97 ch filly, unpl, #116,pp2, nose, off pace, coming on in stretch
7/8 Bint Josue, SMR, 97 ch filly,ns, #116, pp4,neck, lugged out slightly on turns, great finish
8/8 Marsaa, SMR, 97 ch filly,ns, #116, pp6, slow break, good move midway, tiring
Notes: Another stalker's race, with a slow pace. Raun Serra and Blue-Eyed Judy were side by side
the whole race- in fact the announcer thought Raun Serra was
Blue-Eyed Judy's shadow early in the race! THA's grooms wondered
where their horse was for a few furlongs as the announcer didn't call her name!
3b. Maiden 3yo c/g 7 ½ f T div1 $2500
Winner: Bahdarr, CWA, 97 b colt bred by Cross R Ranch, MI (Negam x Hedarrbah, Hedarr-r),
ridden by Tasuki,T=1:47.6
1/4 Bahdarr, CWA, 97 b colt,pl,#118,pp4,by 1L dueled on the lead, pulled away, tiring in stretch
2/4 Fiach Dubh, SMR, 97 bl colt,ns, #118, pp1, by nose, dueled on the lead, tired, fought to hold off others
3/4 Eliot [POL], PAH, 97 b colt, pl,#118,pp2,by nose, close to pace, moving on leaders late
4/4 Silver Runner, CWA, 97 b colt,pl,#118,*pp3, close to pace, moving on leaders late
Notes: Looked like a pairs race, this one, with Bahdarr and Fiach Dubh
charging to the front as a pair, then Silver Runner and Eliot charging from
behind nose and nose the whole stretch. In the end the pace-setters
managed to hold off the closers.
3c. Maiden 3yo c/g 7 ½ f T div 2$2500
Winner: Adib [EGY], BGU, 97 gray colt bred by Abdel Rahim Stud, EGY(Iqbal x Rashda, Ramleh-r),
ridden by S. Boshi, T=1:46.9
1/5 Adib [EGY], BGU, 97 gr colt,pl,#118, *pp4,by photo, off pace early, big move halfway to duel in stretch
2/5 Sultallah, MMZ, 97 ch gelding,ns,#116,pp5,by photo, close to pace, dueled for lead, came back in stretch
3/5 Mereda, BGU, 97 gr gelding,pl,#118,pp3, by head, off pace early, came up to duel in stretch
4/5 Khemistry, CHT, 97 b colt,ns,#118,pp2, by 3L, set fast early pace, tiring but fought hard
5/5 Bravio [SP], MAJ, 97 ch c, pl, #118, pp1, slow break, seemed off form
A very very close race, with nearly a 3-way dead heat for the win.
A brave run by Sultallah, won battle with Khemistry,
then tried to fight off blazing closers Adib and Mereda.
Look for him again, folks!
4a. Maiden 4yo f 5f T $2500
Winner: Azale [EGY], BGU, 96 gray filly bred by Abdel Rahim Stud EGY(Sherif Sami x Warra, *Neman el Saad),
ridden by Chichiri ,T=1:06.5
1/8 Azale [EGY], BGU, 96 gr filly,unpl,#118,*pp3, by 1L, first half in track record pace, fading at wire but huge lead held out
2/8 Samnan, ELE, 96 b filly,unpl,#118,pp6, by nose, stalked pace early, holding speed steady
3/8 Batista, LCI, 96 b filly,ns,#118,pp1, by head, off pace early, gaining in stretch
4/8 Jasara, SMR, 96 ch rab filly,pl4, #118,by 1L, pp, out fast with pacesetter early, rated back, getting second wind
5/8 Back Fire, THA, 96 gr filly,ns,#118,pp2,by nose, off pace early, huge move at top of stretch but couldn't hold
6/8 Saley, SMR, 96 g filly,pl, #118, pp7, by head, off pace early, moving up slowly in stretch
7/8 Starhold Rauina, PBR, 96 bl f, pl, #118, pp5, out fast with pacesetter early, faded
8/8 Pydarra, LLY, 96 ch f, pl, #118, pp8, out fast with pacesetter early, faded very tired
Notes: The story in this race is the phenomenally fast start by Azale,
none of the others had a chance to catch her after her huge sprint to the fore.
Stalkers had to be careful or waste everything chasing the blistering pace.
4b. Maiden 4yo c/g 5f T $2500
Winner: RA Illuminator, PBR, 96 gray gelding bred by Richmondtown Arabians, NY( RA Lights and Siren x
RA Illusion, Fawzan [EGY]-r), ridden by M. Yuuki ,T=1:06.6
1/8 RA Illuminator, PBR, 96 gr gelding, pl,#120, pp3, by head, dueled midway, came back with huge finish
2/8 El Trueno, SMR, 96 gr colt,pl, #120, pp2, by nose, won duel midway, fought back in stretch
3/8 Shakir, THA, 96 b colt,ns,#120,pp1,by 1L, dueled midway, fell back, huge gains at wire
4/8 Czarnik, LLY, 96 ch g, pl, #120, pp8, by 1/2L,stalked pace early, strong finish
5/8 RA Abydos, PBR,96 ch gelding, pl,#120, *pp5, by 1L, dueled midway, fell back tired
6/8 Navlomin, SMF, 96 b gelding, pl, #120, pp7, by nose, fast pacesetter, tiring but kept trying when passed
7/8 Sharif Raja, LCI, 96 gr colt,ns,#120,pp6, by head, weaved into first turn, settled and gaining late
8/8 Seban, LCI, 96 gr colt,ns,#120,pp4, off pace early, big gain at top of stretch but not enough
Notes: Hard-running pace-setters made this race a speed fest. Again
the pace-setters ran each other hard, but all the boys here were up
to the task of fighting all the way to the wire.
5a. Maiden 4yo f/m 1m T $2500
Winner: Galana [SP], CHT, 96 b filly bred by Yeguada Veragua ,Spain(Alvarez x Avila, Garbo-r),
ridden by P.Carpenter, T=1:51.5 EST TR
1/6 Galana [SP], CHT, 96 b filly,pl,#118,*pp2, by 1L, set early pace, fought back in stretch w-t-w
2/6 Alm Aay, LCI, 96 gr filly,ns,#118,pp5, by 1/2L, wide into turn, gaining ground in stretch
3/6 BL Dragonfire,PBR, 96 gr filly,pl, #118,pp6, by photo, stalked pace, taken wide into turn, gaining
4/6 Frydai, THA, 96 b filly,ns,#118,pp3,by head, weaved out of the gate, coming on at wire
5/6 Bonni Dantz [GB], SMR, 96 gr filly, pl, #118, pp1,by neck, far behind pack early, gaining ground
6/6 Comet Lady, PBR, 96 g f,pl, #118, pp4, slow break, left far back, gaining late
Notes: Another tough pacesetter lasts out a long stretch challenge!
Overwhelming favorite *Galana made it look easy, though some fast closers may
have overtaken her if the race had lasted another furlong...
5b. Maiden 4yo c/g 1m T $2500
Winner: Raffiki, BGU, 96 black colt bred by Cross R Ranch,MI (Centennial x Gold Raffia [GB], Gold Rimini ),
ridden by Mitsukake , T=1:49.5 NTR
1/6 Raffiki, BGU, 96 bl colt,pl,#120,*pp5,by 1/2L, set slow early pace, really came on at half to fly past
2/6 Mystyk Tron Ku, COY, 96 b gelding,pl,#120,pp6, by 1L, stalked pace, ran with winner but couldn't catch him
3/6 Sorin, CWA, 96 b colt,pl,#120,pp3, by 2L, bumped out of gate, steadily accelerating the whole way
4/6 Maseema, SMF, 96 b gelding,pl, #120, pp2, by nose, stalked early pace, big move at half, tired
5/6 Enazy, CWA, 96 ch colt,pl,#120,pp4,by nose, bumped out of gate, flew to catch pack, then tired
6/6 Chitim [GB], SMR, 96 ch colt, pl, #120, pp1, stalked early pace, faded
Notes: Inquiry did not find any significant interference between Sorin and Enazy.
Raffiki, usually a closing-type horse, took over a slow pace here and
then made his usual flying finish. Closers didn't have a chance
stalking this colt who knows the stalking game. Beautiful ride by jockey.
6a. Maiden 4/up f/m 7f nonstarters/unplaced $2500
Winner: Odessa Flame, THA, 94 gray mare bred by Blackadder Ranch, CO(BL Firehouse x O'Dessa, *Set-r ),

1/6 Odessa Flame, THA, 94 gr filly,ns,#120,*pp1,by 1L, set fast pace, fell back, came on strong again
2/6 Martyr, PAH, 95 b filly, unst,#118,*pp2, by 1/2L, bumped at break, came back strongly
3/6 Rolleyde, SMR, 96 ch filly, unpl, #118, pp6, by 1/2L, slow break, caught up and pressed leaders, tired
4/6 Thee Desperada, LCI, 95 ch filly,ns,#120,pp3, by photo, went with pacesetter, tired
5/6 Balen, ELE, 96 b filly, unpl,#120, pp5, by photo, bumped at break, settled, coming on late
6/6 Desert Wind, LCI, 92 gr filly,ns,#122,pp4, went with pacesetter, tired
Notes: No inquiry in bumping incident at gate. Odessa Flame showed a lot of class coming back
to catch Rolleyde, who looked to have only Martyr to beat at the top of the stretch.
6b. Maiden 4/up f/m placed 7f 1$2500
Winner: Rikki Tiki Vicki, PAH, 94 bay filly bred by North Star Stud CA(*Vympel x Rikki Tiki Taffi, Tikisflamingjet-r),
ridden by Augustun, T=1:33.1 NTR
1/7 Rikki Tiki Vicki, PAH, 94 b filly, pl,#120,pp6,by 1L, slow from the gate, accelerating strongly all the way
2/7 Mystyk Kontiki, COY, 96 gr filly ,pl,#120, pp7, by nose, set early pace, fought back in stretch
3/7 RA Angelica, PBR, 95 g filly, pl, #120, pp1, by 2L, pressed early pace, fought back in stretch
4/7 Mara, SMR, 96 b filly, pl, #118, *pp3, by nose, sprinted to challenge pacesetter, couldn't hold on
5/7 Tygress, CHT, 96 gr filly,pl,#118,*pp2,by head, slow break, sprinted to lead, tiring
6/7 Silky Bask, EJE, 96 ch filly,pl,#118,pp4, by 1L, slow break, wide into turn, great gains in stretch
7/7 Matrese, SMR, 96 gr filly, pl, #118, pp5, slow break, sprinted to catch up, tired
Notes: Rikki Tiki Vicki set her sights on
RA Angelica and Mystyk Kontiki and wouldn't give in until she'd gotten past. Too many good fillies
wasted energy challenging Mystyk Kontiki's pace and had nothing left once they'd reached her.
6c. Maiden 4/up c/g 7f nonstarters/unplaced $2500
Winner: My Beloved, EJE, 96 bay colt bred by Blackadder Ranch, CO (Nauaf [EGY] x Dearly Beloved, *Sambor-r),
ridden by Nuriko,T=1:33.1 ETR
1/8 My Beloved, EJE, 96 b colt,ns,#122,pp5,by 2L set calm pace, got faster every time challenged
2/8 Kharrington, LCI, 94 b colt,ns,#122,pp1, by 1L, stalked pace, came on strong to challenge in stretch
3/8 Errigo, SMF, 94 g gelding, ns, #122, pp4, by photo, stalked pace, couldn't match drive for 2nd
4/8 Illusive Song, SMF, 95 g gelding, unpl, #122, *pp7, by 1L, out with slow pace, trying hard all the way
5/8 Alm Aret, LCI, 93 gr colt,ns,#122,pp8,by nose, off pace, dueled for lead late, tired
6/8 Zegonoj, SMF, 93 ch gelding, unpl, #122, pp2, by nose, slow break, good move in stretch, gaining
7/8 Magique Foxglow, THA, 95 ch colt,unpl,#122,pp3,by 1L, stalked pace, dueled for lead late, tired
8/8 Fadl Fire, LCI, 94 ch colt,ns,#122,pp6, stalked pace, gaining in stretch
Notes: This race looked to be another stalker's heaven, with a medium early pace
and the leader not gaining too much ground. However, My Beloved was just content
to canter along until another runner came up, then he began to accelerate.
Every time he was challenged he got faster, until the final furlongs were raced at
astonishing speed. The time marks that the top 3 horses posted would have won
many of the races on the card today.
6d. Maiden 4/up c/g 7f placed $2500
Winner: Rikki Tiki Psyche, PAH, 96 chestnut colt bred by North Star Stud, CA (Padrons Psyche x Rikki Tiki Taffi, Tikisflamingjet-r),
ridden by A.C. Twain, T=1:35.3
1/5 Rikki Tiki Psyche, PAH, 96 ch colt, pl,#120,*pp1,by nose, stalked pace, fought his way to the front
2/5 RA Akkid, PBR, 95 ch c,pl, #122,pp3 ,by photo, stalked pace, strong challenge in stretch
3/5 RA Kontiki Light, PBR, 95 ch g,pl #122, pp4, by nose, set pace, fought to hold on
4/5 Immediate, CWA, 96 ch gelding,pl,#122,*pp5,by neck, stalked pace, came up to duel for lead in stretch
5/5 Ravam, CWA, 96 ch gelding,pl,#122,pp2, off pace, great gains midway to challenge in stretch
Notes: Here the pace stalkers got their revenge on the fast pacesetter.
RA Kontiki Light tried to save his energy with a steady pace, and almost
had enough left to hold off RA Akkid and Rikki Tiki Psyche, who charged up
together from just off the pace. Very hard-fought finish with the whole
field 1 length apart.
7a. Maiden 4/up f/m 1 1/16 T $2500
Winner: RA Rosalind, PBR, 95 bay mare bred by Richmondtown Arabians, NY (RA Rikki Tikki Tavi x RA Oryx, Brusally Orzelost-r),

2/7 Misti Jo, COY, 95 gr filly, pl, #120, pp7, by 1L, off pace early, blazing up with huge gains late
3/7 Monraffa, SMR, 95 ch filly, pl, #120,*pp1,by 1/2L, set pace, took a breather midway, fought to the wire
4/7 Epiphany, ABE, 95 b filly, pl, #120,pp5,by 1L, stalked pace, good closing move
5/7 Bist Starr, SMF, 96 g f, ns, #118, pp6, by nose, stalked pace, tired in stretch
6/7 Malfunction, THA, 95 gr filly,ns,#120,pp2,by 4L, out fast with pacesetter, fell back, gaining again late
7/7 Kishka, SMR, 95 b filly, pl, #120,pp4, seemed off form, not pushed
Notes: Fast pacesetter Monraffa almost got her win today- a major fan
favorite, she was cheered to the wire but just couldn't quite hold off the
pursuing mares. Kishka was vet checked clear with only a missing shoe.
7b. Maiden 4/up c/g 1 1/16 T div 1 $2500
Winner: Zephram, CWA, 96 bay colt bred by Flyin' Lion Stables, TX,
(Ibn Razikhna x Phenikan, *Kantar)ridden by Y. Hongo, T=1:59.5
1/4 Zephram, CWA, 96 b colt,pl,#120,pp2,by neck, stalked early pace, great finishing move to take over
2/4 Obsession, LCI, 92 gr colt,ns,#122,pp1,by 1L, fast clean break, flew to the lead, tiring at wire
3/4 Alm Harat, LCI, 90 gr colt,ns,#122,pp4,by 2L, off pace early, gaining steadily
4/4 Zeddie, SMR, 95 b colt, unpl, #120, pp3, off the pace early, gaining late
