Thunderstruck Outtakes!

Brought to you by your friends at the "Not Enough Time to Do a Full Strip This Month"

PLEASE HAMMER, DON'T HURT US
(from "The Princess of Aptos, Part II")
Though the crew and I were naturally psyched to work with a legendary celebrity like Mjolnir,
things did get a bit... tense, I guess. A few entries here from Sharon's journal can give you
an idea about some of the challenges we encountered.

YOU MAY BE SLOW OF MIND, BUT YOUR DRAW IS QUICK
(from "Mirror, Mirror")
Gail is one of those actresses who does her own stunts, which is usually a great thing.
Here, she overdid it. We felt this one in the ol' budget, I can tell you.

WE NEED A PLUS-PLUS-PLUS SIZE FAINTING COUCH HERE
(from "Mirror, Mirror")
I have some past experience working with dragons, and the ones I've known have been stone cold
pros. It's a point of pride to them. This dragon, however... sheesh. Don't let his
looks fool you. He's a little prima donna.

STELLA WINCOTT: MASTER OF ESCALATION
(from "Hierarchy of Angels")
By this point, it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that Stella likes to go off-script. I
try to warn our performers, but Agni... well, he just has to see it for himself before he
believes it. He believes it now, of course.

SEVEN MACAW, I CHOOSE YOU!
(from "Cards on the Table")
We all had an incredibly good time during the Xibalba shoot. And everyone agreed that Seven Macaw
was a crowd-pleaser. Unsurprisingly, it got around that I was looking for some way to bring him
onboard as a recurring character. Seven Macaw offered his... "concept," I guess, for how this might
work. In the end, I went with a different approach.
